Iyengar (founder of Iyengar Yoga), Swami Rama (the Himalayan Institute), Swami satchidananda (Integral Yoga), and Swami Vishnu-devananda (Sivananda Yoga).

The transmission of knowledge of yoga is a two-way avenue, however.
